Optimalogistic was one of eight startups to pitch at the event which was held at the Mediterranean School of Business last Friday (11 May).
The startup was founded in 2016 and connects users to those renting out trucks and other construction equipment. The startup’s founders include CEO Mohamed Ben Slima (featured above, second from left) and CTO Maher Chakroun (featured above, second from right).
The startup is currently one of seven participants in Tunisian accelerator Flat6Labs Tunis’s second cohort, which kicked off last month (see this story).
Optimalogistic was selected ahead of seven other startups, social media analytics startup Kpeiz and software developer Vendis were the runners up
The jury panel was comprised of Seedstars World Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regional manager Meghan Warner, Flat6Labs Tunis managing director Yehia Houry, AfricInvest senior manager Yassine Oussaifi, and Wevioo president Mehdi Tekaya.
By winning the event, Optimalogistic has won a ticket to participate at the Seedstars Summit which is set to take place in Switzerland next year in April.
The next Seedstars World pitch event that takes place in Africa will be held in Casablanca next week Thursday (24 May).
